HIP NOIR ENGINE

Create your own mystery with our APP.

The HIP Noir Engine is Holter Intellectual Property’s proprietary narrative‑logic platform for building interactive mysteries, pantomime performances, and educational story experiences. Designed as a modular, reskinnable system, the engine separates story from structure, allowing creators to load their own characters, clues, music, and visual themes into a flexible framework that generates replayable, community‑centered storytelling.

At its core, the HIP Noir Engine teaches sequencing, inference, decision‑making, and digital literacy through narrative play. Whether used in classrooms, dance studios, theatres, or community programs, the engine transforms creative content into guided experiences that strengthen communication, teamwork, and emotional intelligence. It can even support the development of a personal Emotional Business Plan, helping participants understand their motivations, triggers, and choices through character‑driven scenarios.

The platform powers productions such as Players & Pearls at Club Surrender, but it is not limited to any single story. Producers, choreographers, educators, and youth leaders can use the HIP Noir Engine to create their own mystery game shows, dance‑theatre pieces, or interactive lessons—each one built on the same narrative architecture that drives the Coffy Town universe.

With its blend of technology, storytelling, and social impact, the HIP Noir Engine represents a new approach to edutainment: culturally grounded, artist‑forward, and designed to give communities the tools to tell their own stories with agency, creativity, and intention.

Our Proof of Concept: Coffy Town Radio Theater

Coffy Town Radio Theater is the flagship proof‑of‑concept project of the Holter Intellectual Property Curriculum—an immersive Black Noir audio experience demonstrating how narrative, music, performance, and community storytelling come together inside our learning framework. Through serialized storytelling, learners witness how characters evolve, how clues are placed, how emotional logic drives plot, and how sound design shapes a world rich with culture, mystery, and meaning.

Episode 1: Storytime with Lady — Players & Pearls at Club Surrender

Available now at Coffy.Town, this inaugural series introduces listeners to Coffy Town, a mythic‑noir city where performance and reality constantly intertwine. Through Lady’s eyes—our seamstress, concierge, narrator, and reluctant oracle—students explore character development, world‑building, and the mechanics of a staged mystery. The Valentine’s Day performance at Club Surrender becomes a living classroom where learners can study ensemble work, narrative misdirection, and the interplay between music and movement.

Episode 2: Storytime with Lady — Jackie’s Back

The second installment expands the universe with deeper emotional stakes and more complex political and interpersonal dynamics. Jackie’s sudden return, the death of her father, and the shifting power structures of Coffy Town offer students new opportunities to analyze motive, conflict, trauma‑informed storytelling, and narrative escalation. This season is especially valuable for studying character arcs and the ethical implications of narrative control.

Episode 3: Storytime with Lady — Playing the Game That Plays You

Season three marks Coffy Town’s awakening to a new kind of power: the story itself. As the Rebels demand AI Storyline Autonomy, learners engage with advanced concepts such as meta‑narrative, agency, glitch theory, and the politics of authorship. This episode is ideal for exploring digital ethics, narrative sovereignty, and the evolving relationship between creators, characters, and the technologies that shape their worlds.

The Power Behind the Story: The HIP Noir Engine

All three productions demonstrate the capabilities of the HIP Noir Engine, Holter Intellectual Property’s proprietary narrative‑logic platform. The engine allows a story to move from concept to script to performance while maintaining cultural integrity, emotional depth, and community relevance.

The HIP Noir Engine teaches sequencing, inference, emotional logic, and the architecture of mystery storytelling. It supports educators, choreographers, youth leaders, and producers in creating their own interactive mysteries, pantomime performances, and narrative‑based lessons—each one built on the same flexible framework that powers the Coffy Town universe.

The Future: The Coffy Town App

The next evolution of this work is the Coffy Town App, which will be built at CoffyTown.com as a digital home for interactive storytelling, curriculum access, and community engagement. This platform will allow learners, educators, and partners to explore the HIP Noir Engine in a hands‑on, participatory way—creating their own stories, analyzing narrative choices, and engaging with Coffy Town as a living, evolving world.

A Call for Partnership

We are actively seeking partners, collaborators, and supporters who believe in creative literacy, cultural storytelling, and the transformative power of narrative arts education. Coffy Town is our proof of concept. The curriculum is our mission. Partnership is how we scale.
